David Yates is a Partner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and heads the IP, technology and data practice in Perth.
David will be running through the fundamentals of IP and Data in an energy and resources context, and will also discuss data governance from a range of legal perspectives, as well as practical applications of these principles focusing in particular on collaborative projects.
David will conclude with a discussion of collaborative mechanisms for IP management which may stimulate innovation, and facilitate value creation and commercialisation.
